Bill Gates is not an antique...
...but for some strange reason the Beeb sent the terminally square-jawed Fiona Bruce (new hostess of The Antiques Roadshow on BBC 1) to interview the shy, and soon to be semi-retiring, Micro$oft multi-billionaire on behalf of The Money Programme for BBC 2.
Perhaps Graham Norton, or that American bloke with the false teeth* (John Barrowman?) were unavailable. (See previous discussions with spyderfyngers on the topic of the BBC's ever-diminishing pool of over-recycled "talent".)
Anyway, the show goes out on Friday the 20th of June at 19:00 on BBC 2, and you can read some of the background to it all here:
