However, Vicky Young's sketch of yesterday's PMQs at least catches a flavour of the delightfully toxic discontent currently brewing in the House:

Omitted: Cameron finally hitting Brown with the former Chancellor's ill-advised flogging off of our gold reserves at a rock bottom price, shattering the illusion that Gordon's record ever sparkled with competency. With by-elections looming on the horizon, and an estimated potential loss of over one hundred Labour seats if last Thursday's local election results were to be replicated in a national poll, the party is giving him six months to put his affairs in order before initiating a pukka leadership challenge.

Six months.

It's only going to get worse, isn't it? *G*

The Edits: Fears for my being absorbed into some Hellish high-tech pit, as data sets arrive by the hour, and keep me from my Magnum Ecuador Dark ice cream (mmmmmm, by the way), are appreciated but quite groundless:

Additionally, I'm glad that others have now taken it upon themselves to maintain a sort of "LiveJournal F*ckwit Watch" (cheers for the e-mails), but - as stupendously ghastly as livejournal_uk (and its denizens...netizens?*) seems to be, judging from your accounts - it's hardly up to 2012 London Olympics debate standard, is it? Is it?

Right. Coffee break's over...

*Update from K: "The bad spellers are more fun than the ones getting warnings next month from their employers about posting to the comm on company time."
