Fire, Reiki, and weight loss oh my!

So I live down by Ft Carson... where there's a lovely fire right now... luckily it's not moving north as I'm only like 2 mins from the base. Was driving home last night, pop on I-25 to get here faster as it was late and I was sleepy and see a 'Hwy 115 Closed - Wildfire' sign... great...they didn't mention where it was closed.. that would have been helpful.. like 'Closed after Academy' or something. Anyway... some smoke, not too bad, wind isn't blowing this way... hopefully it stays that way.. I'm going to keep an eye on the news updates incase it suddenly shifts and the kitties need gathering...I don't think that'll happen but just in case.

In other news... needing a massage table.. found a couple good deals on ebay but want to wait till after I get back from FL...got a mess of bills going out prior to the trip and won't be able to use it till then anyway. But once I get it, doing Reiki on others will be soooooooooo much easier! Horrible to have to bend over to do a treatment as they typically last for at least an hour if you're paying attention.

I gotta go eat something and get ready for another busy day at work.. said I'd come in early today since I have accupuncture at 5 tonight so have to be outta there by 4:30 at the latest. Lots to do before the vacation!

Oh! Down 6 pounds this month according to the doc! Yay!
