Torchwood Theory
Okay this is just my opinion and I don’t know how many people will read it but who else feels like Russell is getting back at us about our love for Ianto.
· We have been left without much back story to the character and with the tit bit we had not fully explain
o Aka providence park
· What other writer has told us (his dad being a Taylor) he’s dismissed and changed those details making the character into a liar.
· He didn’t get a very heroic death. Tosh and Owen died to save the world form a nuclear meltdown Ianto’s death seams pointless and stupid in comparisons.
· It seems like in the last 2 series Russell has decided to get rid of the characters that over shadowed Gwen in the fan opinions. (while I don’t like Gwak I do generally like Gwen and I like Rhys, I would please ask this don’t become a kill Gwen type of thing)
o Tosh, Owen and Ianto did seem to be more liked than Gwen
o And the fans seemed to empathise with the three of them more and while that is their own fault for not writing Gwen well and not eves or anyone else fault.
o To me it seems RTD is saying Gwen was meant to be the human heart and shows darling and as u lot haven’t followed that idea I will get rid of the thing that are stopping that.
