(no subject)
I return! Nothing too exciting right now. I'm on Thanksgiving Break and I'm staying at my dad's. My brother is visiting too and it's really nice to see him.
Pretty much all set for Germany. Have to tell my bank that I'll be abroad so they don't think my identity is stolen and I have to make the last payment next month, but other than that, it's all squared away.
I finished Zoo and I think I'm pretty satisfied with it. It refused to cooperate with one scene, so I gave up and deleted it. It wasn't essential, though, so all is well. I'll post it once I've got a little more of the sequel (prequel?) written... and figure out a decent summary.
I found a stash of D.Gray-man doujin online and they're all the Lucky pairing. (Can someone explain to me how the Lavi/Tyki paring came to be known as Lucky? I mean, it's a cute couple name, but how on Earth did the entire fanbase just decide to call it Lucky? I probably would have come up with Laki or Tyvi or something equally dumb.) I found one that looks really interesting and my roommate is practically fluent in Japanese and has been translating doujin for a scanlation group so I'm going to ask her if she wants to translate this one for me. It's pretty short with nice artwork, so hopefully she'll say yes. If she does, I'll share here and wherever I can find a DGM comm on LJ.
Also: the anime Kuragehime is pretty awesome. It's about a girl that's obsessed with jellyfish that meets a man that crossdresses a woman. How could that go wrong?
