(no subject)
As you may or may not care, the Korean psychological horror, A Tale of Two Sisters is being made, like so many other Asian horror movies, into an American version.
Well. They replaced the wardrobe with an explosion (ftw?), added in some cheap sexual sequences, and topped it off with a bit of grotesque and pointless mystery. Congratu-fucking-lations, America. You've officially ruined my favorite movie. Now I won't hold it against Emily Browning because from the bits I've seen she seems to be doing a charming job. But America, as they often do with previously good Asian films, has removed all the beauty, grace, charm, and subtly from the movie and said, "LOLOLOLOLOL, let's have an explosion and liek pointless sexorz and just fuck it to pieces." Well done. Can we have a round of applause? Thank you.
In less bitter news, I went to an anime convention and spent over $100 on doujin. Which is bad. I mean, I like having 6 more doujin, but... uh... money is an issue. Crap.

I realized right after I opened this that it was an 25ANS doujin. I'm not a huge fan of theirs because of the style, but this must be a recent one because the style is much nicer than the other ones I've read. It's the 2nd in a series. Kakashi is in the hospital and Sasuke gets jealous of some nurses. The ending is sad and makes me want to read the next one.
This one is probably one of my favorites of the batch I bought. It's just friggen adorable. KakaSasu. Again.
Big surprise! This is KakaSasu as well. By the same circle that did European Echoes.
By Yamada D Yonezoh. Sasuke has a fever. Kakashi is his doctor. I have mixed feelings about this one.
By the same group that did Tokeru Chi. This one is much more humorous and has a bunch of stories. Has some GaaSasu, but only a little KakaSasu.
This one is awesome. Guess what the pairing for this one is? WRONG! ItaSasu, no Kakashi. Actually this doujin was written before Itachi was fully introduced into the manga, so the doujinka had to guess at Itachi's appearance and mannerisms. It shouldn't come as a surprise that there's some differences. Itachi resembles Sasuke even more and he smiles more--but not in a friendly sort of way. You'll still find that strange bond, though. And also some incest. Whoopsie.
I probably won't scan this one as it was already scanned by hoshi3 at this post. Since it's posted on narutodoujinshi, you won't be able to view it unless you sign the post that says you'll be a good boy/girl and get invited to the comm--but hey, it's practically no effort and it's worth it.
Did I say you lot would get some fic on my next post? I guess I lied. Partly because it's late, partly because I've been so busy this weekend, and partly because I just haven't been working on those fics because I've been working on others, and partly because of a lot of other good excuses so there.
