I got to meet one of GW's most famous alums this week, Alec Baldwin. He was speaking here at HLS abou his new book on divorce, fatherhood, and family law. Everything aside from the very end was extremely awkward and depressing. Baldwin is a very bitter man right now. But it was worth it for the moment when I shook his hand, said "Go Colonials! I went to GW also" and he said "Oh, really? You didn't want to go to law school there?" Yeah, we had a moment.
