(no subject)
So I had some time before work and decided that there was no better way to kill it than to update. Much has changed since my last post. I'm living on my own now, in a rather swanky area of town. Rent is a little expensive, but the house is nice. I've got my own room, and live with two other people. Carlos works animating the menus for dvds. The company he works for caters food in for them, which I think is awesome. And Carol works as a phone banker. She hates her job and is busy looking for another one. Meanwhile I am still working at RadioShack. It's not a bad living if only a bit tiring at times. I work long hours there, usually close to 45 or 50 a week, and I only get one day off, but that's ok because I usually spend it with Lupe. She and I have fun together going out and stuff.
Thanksgiving was good. The food was great and I liked being able to see my family. I usually don't talk too much to them anymore. Christmas was great. I got a memory card for my phone (yeah I know, it's lame, but whatever) and Lupe got me the first four books of the Dark Tower series. Too bad I've had to spend so much time at work or I'd be done with them already. I've also got to read the Chronicles of Narnia again. I downloaded a copy and had my dad print out and bind a couple of copies for me and Lupe. With the movie already out, it's a good time to read it again. I'm already through with A Horse and His Boy and am starting on Prince Caspian later today at work durring my lunch.
Recent purchases include a new cell phone (with a new number: 323 346 5026) which I love, a new iPod because my old one was stolen, and various bits of clothing and such. Unfortunately a car is not one but I hope that it will be soon. For now, I've got my rent and cell phone bill to keep me busy. But since I'll soon be getting on the employee plan for cingular I hope that I'll be able to save some money and get enough for a downpayment together soonly. Anyway, for now I must go.
