My brother moved recently to an apartment about eight blocks away from where he's lived for over ten years. He asked us to bring up a bookcase of his that's been in our garage for ages, so we rented a U-Haul pickup to take it up to him, and help him move some stuff from the old place to the new (not nearly as much as I thought, though). Afterwards, he took us out to lunch. We walked there and passed a yard sale on the way, with quite an eclectic mix of items for sale. I could not resist taking a picture of these shoes. They were a few sizes bigger than mine, and I have big feet! I have a feeling they were used in performances...they just look like something Dame Edna would wear...
