Walking through Cesar Chavez Park, adjacent to the hotel - this is overlooking San Francisco Bay toward the Oakland Bay Bridge and Angel Island.
"Going Away, Coming Home" - public art in the Oakland Airport, of cranes superimposed over satellite pictures of the Bay Area, California, the West Coast and the Pacific, all fired on glass windows.
I had to wait a few hours for my plane (I missed standby on an earlier flight), but I did finally see the Southwest Airlines plane that's painted like an orca. So I had to document it for my son, the plane buff.
