Speaking of pink reminds of the office I went to yesterday where I had my first mammogram. The entire office was shades of pink and mauve. I checked in and was shown to a another waiting room where I was directed to enter a (pink) stall, undress from the waist up and put on a "gown" - also mauve, it was really more of a tie-on shirt. I stowed my stuff in the (pink) locker as directed and joined the other women in the (pink) waiting room. When I was called, I was led down the hall to an exam room. I was suprised the machinery wasn't pink. Beth had told me it's amazing how flat they can clamp them. The technician, maneuvered them around, lay them on a shelf, and then squashed them, first from top to bottom and then side to side. "Relax your shoulders, raise your arm, you'll have to hold the other one out of the way, oh let me do that, I arrange these things all day long, now don't move or breathe, ok you can breathe now...."
Strange.
