More plants...
This was a nice surprise when I came home from work - I had forgotten I planted these a couple of years ago. I'm pretty sure they didn't bloom last year.

I love this purple stuff growing in pots on my steps - I think my mother planted it originally. Trandescantia Purple Queen, it's called; I've been watering it with the water I rinse out the milk cartons with (something my grandmother used to do and she had a real green thumb), and it seems to like it. The flowers are not very big and easy to overlook, but pretty when you look close.
