Merry Christmas everyone!! So far it's been a great one! Yesterday was the Bly (my mom's family) christmas. We had 15 people at our house! It was packed. I absolutely LOVE my family. They're sooo much fun and so crazy. It's so much fun with everyone together. My aunt and uncle from SC were in town too which is exciting. Kyle got to meet them. They spoke a lot of japanese with him (they lived in japan for 10 years). And I got to play with baby lexie! My other cousin's kid, Kody, who's only 2, can't say his L's yet. So he calls her "sexie"...i wonder how long that'll last, cause that could get awkward in a few years. But it's very entertaining now. I love that our family has lil kids in it again. I'm so used to me and my brothers being the youngest ones...not anymore! And then tonight my aunt and uncle on my dad's side came in town from Atlanta and they're staying with us for a few nights. We went out to dinner with my other aunt and uncle on that side, and then we all came back here and watched christmas movies!! A family tradition...i LOVE A Muppet Family Christmas...it's my all time favorite! It's not christmas if we don't watch it. It's got every single muppet character going to Fozzy's mom's house for christmas, and then all the Sesame Street characters come too, and all the Fraggle Rocks! It's so much fun. Me and my brother were obbbbsessed with the muppets/sesame street as kids. I think that's why we love this video so much, cause it's all of 'em together. It's weird how one video can have so many memories. It reminds me of every single christmas since i was about 5 years old. I was thinking about it, and I think if I "met" any of these characters, even though I know it's a guy w/ his hand in a puppet, I would still be more star struck then meeting someone like Brad Pitt or an actual person. They ARE my childhood. After we watched that, we watched ELF! yay!! Which made me think of missy, and miss her. Almost every other line of the movie I was thinking "that's what missy used to say!"
Tomorrow we get santa presents! ...yes my parents still do santa presents, but no, we don't still leave out cookies. We're not quite that bad. But we do still get up early to see our presents. Even though I always vote for sleeping in. My brothers still haven't figured out the presents will still be there even if you sleep in. But we still have to all come downstairs at the same time and make sure our parents are awake....
some things should never change =)
