Jin was more than confused. He was so irritated that he wanted to cry. He definitely did not come to Tokyo to see Kame and YamaP drifting away to their own world while forgetting his existence. His mind was full of anger, sadness, complete confusion and frustration, he almost became dizzy. His heart even hurt. It felt like it was bleeding.
How could they ignore him?! Why is Pi blushing just because Kame came after him to hand him over his wallet?! Why did Kame run after Pi in the first place?! Why was he intruding? Why is Kame protecting Pi even though Pi almost assaulted him a few hours ago? Does he have feelings for Pi? Does Pi have feelings for Kame? And most important of all - why did he strike out to hit Pi? How did he become so blind that he was about to hit Pi, his precious love?
Jin blinked.
Wait.
What were his last words?
"Pi, his precious love"...
Kame, who was still half-lying on the ground and complaining about the pain in his back, felt suddenly something hot and wet dripping on his left hand. He looked up surprised to Jin, who was sitting next to YamaP, and his eyes widened as he saw the other man crying. Jin didn't seem to realize that his face was covered with tears and that they didn't stop coming out of his red-swollen eyes. No one could actually tell where he was staring at, his gaze seemed to go through everything. Like he wasn't really looking at someone or something. but caught in a world, where everything looked like blurred, unimportant objects.
"Jin-?"
Kame clawed for YamaP's right sleeve, snapping him back to reality.
"Jin?"
Kame raised his voice. There was still no answer. Kame gave YamaP a scared look. YamaP bit his lower lip and shook his head slowly. He couldn't look at Jin, although he exactly knew what was happening to his ex-lover who had gone deadly silent. I'm not going to give in. Not before he apologizes to me...
He closed his eyes and repeated these two sentences in his head like a despairing prayer. It's his own fault, he should feel now the same pain I felt...
Kame's heart ached. This was too painful to watch. Two men sitting next to him on the ground - he was kinda glad that there weren't so many people on the streets who watched the whole incident - one crying silently and one desperately hoping that the other one would stop by some kind of miracle.
This was stupid.
Ignoring the fact that his lower body still hurt (mainly not because he fell onto the ground, but because Pi didn't exactly treat him gently the night before), he took a deep breath and embraced Jin tightly.
Shortly before the embrace, Jin was almost drowning in questions which were spinning through his mind uncontrollably. The others are right, Bakanishi suits me very well... How could I believe that Pi wouldn't care that much if I had another lover? Why did I accept Kame's confession in the first place? Why did I take the risk of losing Pi? It's my own fault that he hates me now.. I'm such a baka. He even calls Kame "Kazu-chan"... This is all my fault. Why do I never think about the consequences of my actions first? This is all my fault. Pi... Pi... do you really love Kame now? Pi... don't leave me. I need you. I'm sorry for trying to hit you. I... I didn't want you to call Kame "Kazu-chan"... I.... I was jealous. It hurt. Thinking about you and Kame making out makes me wanna break into little pieces that would vanish after reaching the ground. Pi... is this the feeling you had when you saw my stupid message? Pi... will you ever talk to me again? Will you ever forgive me? I'm sorry.. I'm...
Jin felt something warm around his shoulders. He couldn't recognize the person at first because tears in his eyes were disturbing his sight, but he didn't really care who that person actually was since it was reassuring and making him feel better.
"gomennasai..."
"It's okay." Kame let out a little sigh of relief. "It didn't hurt that much. Plus, as I already said to Pi, it'll heal in a few days, so don't worry!" Kame tried to respond in a cheerful way but his voice was a bit shaky. Jin shivered a little as he heard YamaP's nickname that was originally only used by him.
"No, I mean yes, I'm also sorry for that... I should have hit myself. But it's not only about the bruise on your pretty face..." Jin paused for a while. "I'm sorry for being such an idiot. I just..."
"You shouldn't be apologizing to me", Kame whispered back and hesitated for a moment.
"Akanishi Jin, hasn't your heart told you already that the true reason for your presence here right now is not Kamenashi Kazuya?"
Jin wasn't sure how to answer this. After all, he had told Kame just a few hours ago that he loved him and he had been convinced that he was mad at Pi because of seducing Kame. Until now. The truth was, it was totally irrelevant whether or not Pi had slept with Kame.
"There's someone more important than me, remember?"
The point was that Pi was having fun with someone else who was not him. It drove him crazy.
"Jin, are you listening to me?"
Jin nodded lightly and rested his head on Kame's right shoulder while he put his arms around Kame's waist. He squeezed Kame like a child would seek protection in his mother's arms after getting scolded by someone.
"But he hates me. I can't talk to him now. I never will be able to talk to him again. He won't listen to me. I know it. He hates me. I--"
"How do you know without even trying to speak to him?"
Kame tried to keep his voice low, YamaP was still sitting next to them pretending he didn't notice what was going on by keeping his eyes shut.
"I, I know it because I cheated on Pi and I hurt Pi and he surely won't listen to me and--"
"Jin, I'm sure he'll listen to you. You have to give it a try."
"But I even tried to hit him and I there's no reason for him to be willing to listen to me and--"
"Jin, you know each other for quite a long time and I know him pretty well too, he is NOT the kind of person who wouldn't listen to you if you're trying to explain him something. You should know that."
"Nonetheless, I did an awful thing and he hates me, I know it, and--"
"Jin, calm down. I'm sure Pi is waiting for you to do the first step. You have to think clearly for doing that."
"But-"
Kame finally snapped. He was really fed up with the whole situation.
"Gosh, why do I even bother to help you two to make up??!!"
He released himself from Jin's embrace and stood up. "Where are you going?" Jin gave him a bewildered look.
"Far, far away from you guys", Kame responded in a determined tone. He was about to leave, when he suddenly turned around and kicked YamaP. "I know you were listening, stop making things more complicated!"
After saying these words, he hailed a taxi and hopped off.

I should be studying now for my Kanji-test (漢検) I'm taking tomorrow... *whistles* <-still doesn't get it that she has to pay the exam fees if she fails it.
