I had meant to update this immediately after getting home Thursday, but I chose to play Kingdom Hearts II instead. I'm home for the summer, and I absolutely cannot be more content. BS busywork from the spring semester is over; I'll never have to have my Biology lab professor for another Biology class again; and I think I did pretty well for the most part on finals. I'll find out the 19th. I really don't feel like providing a lengthy discourse as to what has happened in my life over the past semester; if you care to know, then ask. However, I shall provide a few juicy tidbits in bullet form for those who actually read my LJ anymore.
*I went to the GHS band spring concert last night in the new auditorium. (Grant, I must report that it has not been named in the Master's honor as of yet. I'm sure the formal dedication will see the unveiling of several marble busts and statues of the chief thespian in his celebrated roles.) The last of the construction I had really seen was was back in January when Schubert gave me a VIP tour of the site, and I must say quite a bit of progress has been made (for obvious reasons, namely the accommodations indoors). It was nice to see Jose, Matt Jones, Greg, and others there.
*After having played KHII, watced the English dub of Advent Children, happening upon the "Josie and the Pussycats" CD while looking for CDs for my mother for Mother's Day, and seeing my sister watch "She's All That" today, I've decided that Rachel Leigh Cook is pretty attractive.
*Because Life Time Fitness and the two positions at Richardson Regional have for all extensive purposes fallen though, I'm now in search of a summer job. Tomorrow I plan to try Old Navy and Barnes and Noble, among other stores.
*I started reading the copy of Heart of Darkness that Dr. Igo gave me for my birthday yesterday. I haven't read much as I've been busy with leveling up Drive forms in KHII; however, from what I have read I must say I'm impressed with Conrad's imagery.
*I need to exercise today. As the weight set has been moved to the patio, I'll work out sometime in the evening.
*This is rather pointless, especially as I really have nothing interesting to say and no creative means of expressing my blase thoughts.
