A few months ago I moved away from Pekin, Illinois. I now live in Normal, Illinois. It was a great move for me. I'm in a busy apartment with a lot of movers and shakers, I live across the street from ISU's campus, and I'm living on my own. I can't believe I've waited so long to move out. It's by far the best thing to ever happen to me. I never noticed how chaotic and crazy my life in Pekin was, but now that I know, I'm never moving back in with my parents.
That said, every weekend I visit my dear family in Pekin. I love them to death but after a couple of days I feel the strong desire to get back to Normal where things are normal. That coincidental use of words is intentional and makes me smile whenever I think of it. I've never felt so inspired. The desire to write has returned, my apathy is at it's lowest point in years, and I feel like my spark has returned.
A cool breeze is comforting me now, so I'll take my leave. Enjoy. *runs out the door*
