So You Want to be the Nation's Next Top Model Ads, Week of June 21st.
Loud music. Flashing graphics. An announcer trying to fit everything into the hyper-short attention spans of the main demographic. In a nutshell, that was what the advertisements that started popping up on various channels seemed to be, thirty second sparks of inspiration, and these were the important parts:
"...So You Want to be the Nation's Next Top Model? Too bad! You can't! But these six hot girls and these six sexy guys might get the chance!..."
"Panel of top fashion names..."
"Fashion!"
"Couture!"
"Cover Girl!"
"Drama llamas!"
"Who will be hot? AND WHO WILL NOT?"
"Sundays, eightsevencentral. ONLY on the CW!"
And, if anyone might be paying particular attention, they might recognize a face in those flashes, of a particular giant cheerleading Fandom High alum...
[[ OKAY, HERE'S THE DEAL: I've finally gotten around to posting this and getting Chad's post-Fandom career as a Reality Model Show star started. Due to the magic of Fandom television, the show Chad's going to be on (So You Want to be the Nation's Next Top Model, SYWTBTNNT for 'short') will be accessible Sundays at eight (seven central) on Fandom TVs. In the tradition of ANTM, they pre-film a lot of it, so Chad's been contracted not to make contact with anyone until the show is over and/or the show where he's booted gets broadcast, but I invite people to take an interest in the show and follow it and humour my crazy. Every Sunday, a general post describing the gist and the drama and the photoshoots and which model gets kick off will go up so people who do want to watch it and cheer Chad on will know what happened that week.
