OOC :: An Info Post. Alumni Edition.
I was going to do my current students next but then I just got another new thumbs-up icon for Chad (this makes 5!), and so that settled it right there. Here are my alumni characters, who you probably won't interact with too much if you're new, but they're still awesome.
There is however, a small note about something post-grad that Chad will be doing if you want to check it out and help!
Adah Price, The Poisonwood Bible, ecirpnellehada
--Class of 2008
--In her second year of pre-med at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, 1964.
--Has hemiplegia, which means that half of her brain (and, consequently, half her body) doesn't work. Needless to say, she's left handed.
--Is obsessed with language, especially poetry (Poe and Dickinson specifically) and backwards things. Palindromes make her salivate. There's a reason she can pinpoint the moment she fell in love with Lee to exact moment he joked around that his middle name was Fool. Think about it.
--Is totally in love with Lee Adama. Kind of hates him for it. A little.
--Has a lot of family issues, especially regarding her father, who basically regarded her as a "punishment from God" and dragged his family to the Congo as missionaries, and her mother, who had intentionally left her behind once when fireants attacked their village, thinking they'd kill her but someone had to go and mess that up by saving her
--Has a twin sister that she isn't sure is dead or not. Has an older sister who is definitely alive and a complete idiot. Has a little sister who is definitely dead as doornails.
-Is anti-social and does not speak unless she feels like it and/or has to. This makes her pretty much never leave her hotel room or dark shadowy corners at alumni events, and she certainly never approaches anyone who isn't Lee. She's difficult like that.
--Will be embarking on an experience with a neurologist friend under the theory that she actually can use the bad half of her body; she was just trained otherwise. It will require her to "forget" everything she's learned about movement by not moving for an extended period of time. Ohhh, that'll be fun.
Yasutora "Chad" Sado, Bleach, senor_chado
--Class of 2009
--His name is not Chad Chad. It's Yasutora Chad, if using the nickname, which is a really, really lame pun on tea.
--Will be leaving for New York shortly, where he will embark on a modeling career and attend college for a music degree, before going into space to be a concubine for an alien emperor. He has one of the coolest futures ever, omfg.
--Is practically married to Teddy Altman.
--LOOOOOOVES cute things. Not that you can tell. He's one stoic mo-fo.
--Will do anything and everything he can to protect the ones he loves
--Is very quick to make make-shift familial relationships with people
--Is super-strong, can take a beating, and has a super-powered armoured arm to hit crap with. Also, if he's been...'active' with Teddy recently, he can shapeshift and heal quickly. Yes. His boyfriend has magical sperm.
--Is obsessed with music. Doesn't talk much. Unless it's about music.
--Is half-Japanese, half-Mexican. Spent his childhood between the two countries until the death of his grandfather, where he moved to Japan for a few steady years and then to America and Fandom High.
--Parents are dead, too. There should be a club for that.
--Used to be Assistant Manager at Groovy Tunes. Now Prince Oscar Pedro Neko-kun (pause) the Third, his hairless cat, holds that title.
--Will one day have at least 50% of his icon slots taken up by Thumbs-Up Icons. Mark my words.
--This summer, I intend to have Chad embark on a reality, ANTM/MMASM-esque TV show, where hopefully I'll be posting an 'episode' every week and, hopefully, through the magic of FH interdimensionability will be broadcast on the island so people can waaaatch it because that'd amuse me WAY TOO MUCH OMFG.
