I once said music was my religion and I still stand by that. Like I stand by saying it of poetry and booze - at different times, obviously. Mostly me buddhist with strong atheistic pull always being exercised upon me by brain matter and such.
Now I'm a UU. For sure. And because Unitarian Universalist is such a mouthful. Nearest congregation? Barcelona. I know, a mere 700 miles or whatever. So I joined an on-line branch. No tithe, no. LGBT mailing list. One of hundreds, but only 2 for me so far.
So am I born again? The fuck I am! Humanist, buddhist, gay, communist, all very much welcome. Gods, ye people of the US of A, couldn't you elect an UU President next time around? On second thoughts I should probably start to be more tolerant as regards neo-cons and paleo-cons and evangelic types and the Bush dynasty...
Well, it'll help my spiritual growth.

No, I have not joined to meet cute guys. Might as well let those Mormons in that come knocking on my door every wednesday afternoon. Always did fancy a couple of guys in suits. Or uniforms or whatever. But I stray... (Really? You amaze us!)

As I was trying to say I feel happy and peppy and there's a s. in my step. Which I'm keeping under a watchful eye by staying home cat-sitting M who's had something that looks like tummy ache. Food poisoning? Too much mediterranean lamb stew? Hey, just because I'm almost 99% veggie (not vegan, though) I couldn't possibly be cruel to the kid. The lamb was dead processed and packed anyway so it's not as if I personally slaughtered it and it's not my tiny baby that's keeping the production line going for that particular..product.

So, adeus, até à vista, até ao meu regresso!
