There is a very nervous little sidhe carrying a basket of food that honestly looks like it should pull him sideways, being seemingly half his size.
He's dressed all in green today, from the dark trousers that require a belt to keep from falling down, to the sage-colored knit shirt that is obviously three sizes too big for him.
Erasmus, wanting to dress nicely, had ...basically thrown his nice white-toga-with-blue-embroidery over the plain brown tunic he normally climbed trees in. He never claimed to be good at this.
Luc was nice and kept further back and to the side than usual as they approached him.
"Hello," Erasmus said, smiling. "Can I give you a hand with that?"
Erasmus has picked up on enough to manage to bury his hand in Sennyo's hair during the kiss.
"I missed you, too." He smiles as he picks up the other end and helps carry the thing. "But you won't believe the research I've been doing for the medical application of hibiscuses."
"It seems like it would have the right kind of chemical effects to make a good population control drug. Much safer in many different respects than what I was previously working with."
When Luc's dropped back enough that Erasmus can pretend he thinks Luc can't hear him admit this, his says, with a tincture of regret in his technical tone. "Hellebore was...probably the wrong kind of plant to be trying to work with for medical purposes."
Sennyo thinks on this for a moment, to be sure he understands. "Population control. Like contraception?" It's not something that would have occurred to him, but then children aren't something he ever has to worry about.
he nods, very serious. "It's a dangerous plant. And not very nice when they're planted in a group."
Erasmus nods. "Hibiscus, with the right combination of added ingredients, could safely prevent prevent conception in the first place instead of trying to...deal with it afterwards. And it isn't a cardial poison."
Erasmus listens and nods. That shouldn't surprise him, and doesn't really.
Sennyo nods, face very serious. "Preventing the situation is a much better idea. It's safer, too. And I would think the woman it happens to might feel some guilt if she made a potential baby go away?" Sennyo has been able to pick up a little bit from his world, even as sheltered as he is.
Then he smiles, his face returning to the happy almost-glow. "I'm doing very good. I have lots of very special new babies to keep me busy, that were given to me by a very handsome man who - who m - means a lot to me." If he was the type, he'd be cursing that stutter. As it is, he just blushes.
Sennyo's blush deepens at Erasmus's touch. "I talk to them about you."
Arriving at the location he was shown, Sennyo will indicate the basket should be set down. He then pulls a Provence-style blue-and-yellow patterned blanket from the basket and spreads it on the ground, settling himself on it.
The smile Sennyo gives him is nothing short of radiant, and he starts opening containers and dishing out the food.
There is Sennyo's 'trademark' sesame-orange salmon, Thai-style shrimp with a coconut-lime sauce, sliced fruit, including kiwi, pineapple, and Elva melon, and a baby-greens salad with olives and fresh mozzerella cheese. From a carafe, he pours a lightly-sweetened mint tea.

He sets the basket down to free both hands to wrap around Erasmus's neck for a shy, tender kiss. "I missed you, Erasmus."
In answer to Erasmus's question, Sennyo nods and reaches for one side if the handle, waiting for Erasmus to take the other.

He begins walking to the secluded area by the river he was shown on the map. "I'd love to hear about it. Have you discovered anything useful?"

Erasmus blushes a little. "I'm really glad you're enjoying their company." His free hand touches the younger man's face. "And....likewise."

He starts to pull containers from the basket, arranging them on the blanket, along with plates and cups. "Do you like salmon?"
Reply
"Very much. I haven't had it often; pretty rare at home."
