I forget my resolve to not talk about the new Ultraman movie
I should have a far more pleasant entry to write on the first anniversary of MEBIUS' ending, but more info on the new movie doesn't seem like very good news.

The only good thing I see out of this so far is at least there would be some kind of continuation or exploration of those unsettled/half-hanging romances (Asuka and Ryou, Gamu and Akko). I especially want to see something more on Asuka and Ryou because I totally ship them. And Daigo, I assume he's not married in this universe, but he would still end up with Rena, right? Also, why is Mirai the only one in uniform? It is an alternate universe, he could have some other job. (As I understand it, I think Mirai comes from yet other universe, but still...) Not to mention the original guys. I have no idea, time-wise or place-wise, where to place them at all.
