Yes, I have plenty of things that needed doing (and replies owed to people), but I couldn't resist... (And, I admit, I'd probably get more audience with a Mebius related meme.)
(7) In the show this character appears in, is there any other character who you would 'allow' to have a relationship with him/her?
Misaki is the first person that comes to mind, but I feel uncomfortable with the idea because of their difference in ages. Other than that, I actually like the pairing a lot.
Do you really think they're that different in age? Or is this assuming Misaki is 20 like her friend? I don't know if it would really matter. Sako's supposed to be 80, right? I don't know. I guess he doesn't look 40 to me even though he is.
And Aya's grandfather, not that I really know why. Isana is an interesting possibility, but I prefer someone else (around his age) for him, so...
I actually thought of that too but decided people might find it disturbing if I said it. :p And they would've been about the same age if he hadn't spent that time in space. I have to admit, I'm in this "relationship with age difference that works is really sweet" mode.
(7.5)Does this character top or bottom? (seme or uke?)
Um...I'm sure he would allow Serizawa (or Aya's grandpapa) to be the take charge one. So, not sure if I answer the question.
There we go. So if Misaki is 20+ and Sakomizu is 40, that's not so bad. Hm, though I guess Misaki would still be more like early to mid-20s even if Asami was a genius, huh? And there's the rank issue, hitting on your superior or subordinate. Misaki will just have to think about it for maybe another 3-5 years and decide if she wants him, and Sakomizu will... drink coffee and see what happens.
Yup. ^_^ Now if only Supreme General Chancellor Takenaka had been stern enough to keep Aya away from Mirai. He could even argue it's for her safety since he knows Mirai is Mebius. Guess Sakocchi and Taki might've had some youthful experimentation but can't really see beyond that. Must be the change in mood. Or maybe because I imagine older Chancellor with Captain. Maybe it's a widower notion I have in my head, though in truth I guess Taki still has his job to keep him busy even if his wife did die. No, guess it's just my mood. Imagine them doing exactly what they did in ep 42, sit there and chat. Companionship but prob with older one talking more most of the time except in the 42 exception.

True. Problem is, I'm now thinking of Sakomizu as 80 after watching episode 42 and can't go back to the age he appears to be.
Oh yes, I've completely overlooked the subordinate issue. I guess I'm thinking of it as an ideal world, where all other outside obstacles to their relationship don't exist. A naive worldview, I suppose.
And about the edit, I just didn't like to appear like I was copying, that's all. I usually get worried over simple things like this. ^^;
Nah, it's not a problem as long as the superior doesn't use his rank to intimidate or force the relationship. Not a problem for Sakocchi.
:p Not that I don't too, but yeah, don't worry. Sako can be shared. I think I rather like Sako over Sakocchi or Shingo. Guess it's because I'm not Japanese so don't know when personal name is too personal to use.

Isn't he so obliging? :)

Misaki went to college with Asami, but Asami jumped a lot of grades. So Misaki would be a few years older.
Sakocchi has lived through 40-odd years, though he was born around the same time as Aya's grandfather. Yay, relativistic effects.
