FF.net has started their own "purge"
I was doing my daily haunts in Tumblr, when I came across with this:

People have been breaking this particular rule almost every day for the last 10 freaking years - I myself have read there numerous explicit fics for eight years - and now they start to "clean up" FanFiction.net? Okay, sure. Wouldn't it just be easier to accept the fact that there's explicit fanfiction and will always be, unless the whole human race gets wiped out of existence in next 24 hours.
And I just joined FF.net. *sigh* Okay, this might just be one of those times, where the FF.net mods & admins just want to sweep things under the rug and claim that "we don't support smut, pr0n or anything else that might scar the innocent minds of those, who wander in the safe and guarded roads of Internet". Even LJ has them every once in a while.
Besides, what's this crap about 'detailed descriptions of ... violent nature'? What's detailed descriptions and what's not? If I write this:
'He could almost hear the sound of his knuckles shattering into pieces, the pain of the delicate bones being smashed making him scream and cry hysterically even as the little drops of blood spattered all over the swollen face.'
Is it more detailed than this?
'The sight of broken ribs and intestines gaping through the massive wound was something even the most battle-hardened men couldn't take without turning green and staggering away and that was before the smell of decay hit them like a physical wave.'
Still, I feel a bit miffed about this and I'm going to wait and see, if they delete the only NC-17 story I've posted there thus far. Made some changes into the summary but since Naruto has such popular fandom, I don't it'll be enough to throw them off. ;P
