Update on some RL stuff and things I plan on posting.
So I was on my computer last night and I realized I had a TON of oneshots lying around. I might post them on FF.net, but I figured I'd put them here first, since I sort of want this journal to go somewhere in life. Also, I plan on posting some essays I wrote last year that were actually fun to do and I really liked. I have hard copies of them stored at my appartment that my professors have editted, so I'll make corrections and then post them.
Gin hearts Yumichika
My take on GinYumi. Crack up ahead, you have been warned.
“Kira fuku-taicho, I’m going to have to ask you to stop seeing Ikkaku.”
Izuru looked at Yumichika in shock. When he had come to Ikkaku asking for some extra training, Yumichika had not made any protests. In fact, he seemed to be gung-ho for the whole thing. He was surprised that the pretty shinigami would make such a protest now. Unless...
“I-I’m sorry Ayasegawa-goseki, but...is it because Ikkaku’s...your…” Izuru stammered.
“No, no, nothing like that,” said Yumichika, looking more irate by the second, “This has nothing to do with Ikkaku.”
Kira was now very confused, “T-then why? I’ve been making so much progress...”
“It’s not you either, it’s your Captain,” Yumichika snarled.
“Ichimaru-Taicho?” asked Kira, “But, what does he have to do with this? I told him I would be spending time to train with Madarame-sanseki.”
“Yes, you did, and I also agreed to help with your duties while you trained. I thought it would be fun to work for the third division since three is the most beautiful number, but, but,” said Yumichika, looking like he was about to explode.
“Oh Aya-kun!~ Oh beautiful Aya-kun~ Come here my pet~” called a voice.
Yumichika’s eyes grew wide as dinner plates. He spotted a nearby storage room and made a mad dash for it. As he shut the door he called, “Tell him I’m here, and I will kill you in the ugliest way I possibly can!”
Izuru, still very confused, whirled around in time to see the silver haired Captain burst into the room. In his arms he carried a length of rope and he was all smiles. He looked about and fixed his sealed eyes on the blond fuku-taicho, “Tell me Izuru, where has my pet gone?”
“Y-your pet, Taicho?” stuttered Kira.
“Yes, that lovely peacock you sent me. It seems he’s run away again. Such a naughty little pet, but he’s so much fun to play with,” mused Gin, “I wonder how much fun punishing him will be...”
“I don’t think Ayasegawa-goseki would let you touch him,” protested Kira.
“That’s the fun of it Izuru,” said Gin, “I love the feeling of my beautiful peacock squirming in my grasp, wrestling him away from the desk, and that’s just when I want to pet him.”
“Excuse me Taicho but, you pet Ayasegawa-goseki!?” exclained Kira in alarm.
“Of course, he’s my pet,” shrugged Gin, “If you had a pet, wouldn’t you want to hold it in your lap, stroke its hair and give it lots of love?”
“T-Taicho, I think you misunderstood. I asked Ayasegawa-goseki to help with any paperwork I might miss because of my extra training. I didn’t give him to you as a pet!” explained Izuru.
“It might not have been your intention, but he’s my pet now,” smiled Gin, “How do you expect me to have any fun with you gone Izuru? I had to do something fun. Just as I was about to go insane with boredom, you send me a pretty peacock to play with. I think I’ll keep him so he can’t run away and leave me all alone like you did Izuru, hence the rope.”
“Taicho you can’t keep other Shinigami as pets!” cried Kira, “Soutaicho will-”
“Not hear a word of this. Now, either you can tell me where to find my pet, or you can replace him. Would you like to be my new pet Izuru?,” said Gin sweetly.
Izuru stood quietly for a moment, unable to say anything in response. Then, after a minute or so of awkward silence, he pointed to the door. “Sorry...Ayasegawa-goseki...”
