Agent 22 Glossary
Here is a glossary for unfamiliar terms found in the story Agent 22. It will be updated each chapter as needed.
Alainn: Vaguely humanoid race from the Gamma Quadrant. Known for their green skin, supernaturally blue eyes and (typical) four arms. Usually seen as beautiful to members of other races although can be quite scary when they are angered. Race of Saphrina, a member of the wait staff at Nino's bar.
B: Small device capable of making calls, sending information, accessing archives, pretty much an all in one computer device. High class B's are standard issue for M-Net agents.
Brek: strong swear word, ala 'fuck' in English
Broog: Mild swear word, ala God in English.
Busboy: Robot at Nino's bar that cleans and removes dishes. Whatever Nino doesn't want to do, basically.
Celephnoic Thread: Type of thread used in clothing that both reenforces and causes a glitter effect.
Centrapod: Four-footed species from the Tau Quadrant that looks vaguely like the mythical centaur except for an irregular nostril, a yellowish hue, and two antennae that sprout from around the ears. A solitary race, it is known for its reluctance to speak to anyone, even others of its species. Race of Delos, a member of the wait staff at Nino's bar.
Communications Bay: Area from which one can make planet to planet calls. Only scarce in backwoods of space.
Cutrone: The Galactic currency.
Detragyl: Small, big snouted pig-like creature, eaten for its meat.
Dwerg: Small dwarf-life creatures. Known to be vicious and very concerned with where they're getting their next meal. Typically loose morals. Race of Groot, bouncer at Nino's bar.
Entara: Small planet in Tokyu's system that does most of the farming for the more industrialized Tokyu.
Gaf: Cloth-like sheets used to cover wounds.
Inbetweener: Someone that has graduated from M-Net Academy but has not yet been put into active duty.
Jerflog: Strongish swear word, ala jerk/bastard in English.
Manx: Humanoid race except for cat-like qualities such as ears, tails, and feline eyes. Greater reflexes and able to sleep for many hours. Known to be charismatic, to both good and bad effects. Home planet unknown. Race of Aiba, friend of Nino and Trax, 'grocer' for the space station.
M-Net: Galactic police force/government agency that patrols the galaxy, especially cracking down on pirates. Sho and Jun are members. Ohno is rogue.
Phase Pistol: Small blaster gun, only owned by higher ranking officers of M-Net.
Selenium: Combustive chemical agent.
S-Spray: Most basic of all medical tools; basically a bandaid. Disinfects wounds.
Standard Evasion: Class at M-Net Academy.
Tokyu: Base planet in the central galaxy. The M-Net academy is located here.
Tori: Deceptive creature that looks like a normal humanoid until it reveals itself to be a birdlike creature that feeds upon bone marrow. Have to bind it's hands in order to incapacitate it.
Tranium: Combustive chemical agent.
