Arrival in Oaxaca

Dear Readers,
Well I made it to Oxaca. I flew to Dallas, then to Mexico City, and then to Oaxaca. I flew alone from Mexico City to Oaxaca because my companion's Visa papers weren't in order, so he and another Elder left the next day. The airport in Oaxaca is just a runway and a small building where you pick up your luggage. My Mission President was waiting for me and I was relieved to see him.
My living conditions are such: freezing cold showers, no drinkable water, ( I do have a toilet but no toilet seat), and my "home" here is about as big as my bedroom and family room combined. The food here is good and the meals are HUGE. However I'm not too worried about gaining weight as I walk a minimum of 5 to 9 miles every day.
