Well, just got back from my holidays on Saturday, and what a relaxing time we had!
Quick overview (Leaving out the sunbathing swimming and drinking etc)
Day 1 - Newcastle airport left all of our luggage at the airport check-in, apparently it doesn't make good sense to move them on when the lines break down (first 3 families through had this problem, nice) - At least it was a light journey from there, only had our hand luggage (Only problem was Catherine's medication, some was in the case as it was a liquid, and her insulin had to be cooled, so we brought frozen water in the cases too, luckily the coach had a fridge)
Day 2 - No cases, so we hit the shops (All essentials including soaps, suncream, clothes (I went in my shorts and t-shirt) etc). Relaxing and drinking round the pool :-)
Day 3 - No cases again, first major rain I'd seen in Turkey, and boy did it rain, we had to buy warmer clothes etc, more cost! Relaxing and drinking :-)
Day 4 - Cases arrive on the morning! We get changed and hit the pool for the day (Alexis enjoying time with her new little friend, Imogen - so cute together)
Day 5 - Relaxing and drinking round the pool, some walks and a bit of spending, bought Cat a replacement for her engagement ring that broke (Got one custom made in Goldsmith's jeweler's before we were engaged, and spend quite a bit on it, too, later to find out that the ring was crap, clasps naff and the jewel flawed, so much so that if we tightened the clasps the stone would break!) What a beautiful ring (Like the lady it's for) *teehee*
Day 6 - Relaxing and drinking round the pool, some walks and a bit of spending, picked up the ring after it and her wedding ring being made to fit together nicely (Everyone commented and awed at the shiny-ness of the diamonds in it (3 hanging, perfect diamonds)
Day 7 - Relaxing and drinking round the pool, some walks and a bit of spending, ready to leave the hotel at 01:30am to fly home!
