Well, thought I'd update - a lot has happened lately!
Had a mate (Nahom) come from Sweden to stay for a week. It was the best thing that has happened to me in a long time... I have some semblance of a social life now, I've started to see people again, and am now arranging things with people I thought I'd not see again.
I've made complete peace with Catherine (My wife) and now we spend loads of time together, this last two weeks has been great for me in all ways!
We took Nahom out round the area to see sights etc and generally have a good time, which he says he did - and he appreciated it, which is fantastic! My daughter (Bless her) cried when he left, but at least we enjoyed the time, and took some nice photos (Will post up later, when it isn't midnight)
I've started doing D.I.Y and car maintenance myself too, learning new skills and becoming a better person through it (Not as lazy, and a help to my wife and the money situation) which is always nice.
We've made arrangements with Alex to go bowling with her, and with my bro-in-law and mate to go into the country to do some video recording of random stuff, I can't wait!
On the job front - I still can't get employed by anyone else, so I'm stuck wasting money in a job I can't afford to go to! Also, we lost a couple of members of the team due to petty bosses getting rid of the people that actually voice their opinions, those that actually speak out, now we've lost the most experienced people on the team, which leaves me as the bitch again...
Oh yeah - the dude who's car I went into (Slowly) 3 days before my birthday last year is filing a claim against me, apparently he could hardly get out of the van (He got straight out and said he had barely a twinge) and had severe pain for weeks after the accident, the van had barely any damage, apparently that's worth £2500! He'd claiming sick-time 2 days before the accident too, nice to be clairvoyant... It's exactly what is wrong with today's society - where there's a blame, there's a claim, they should be ashamed of themselves, I'm surprised they sleep so well at night.
Anyhow, can't think of much more, will update later again with pics.
