How to ride a bear?

Does anybody knows how to make Matsu ride a bear in Utage?
I have her reached level 61 and maxed bear's skill, but can't ride it.

Hold down R2 (or whatever the special move button is on the Wii) and after a while, she'll jump onto the bear's back :)

Can she also ride an eagle?

Yes, but I am not very good at the eagle still. You have to summon it, then jump twice to ride underneath it.

I need to play Matsu more :)
