Fanart post
Hey hi hello.
I made new year's resolution that I would try to learn colour my drawings, only that this time I seriously mean it. In between creating all kind of funny illustrations for my own projects I amused myself with drawing fanart, and so some poor Sengoku Basara characters got artisticly abused by me and my colouring experiments. I hope you enjoy the fruits of chaos!

Doesn't he look like he is ready to go "who is moe now?" on us? Good try, but what's up with the pretty bow he has tied his sash? xD My bad, I guess. To be truthful I really like his badass side more, because that's how I remember him.

I wanted to draw something cute, so I had hard time to choose between Tsuruhime and Itsuki. Well, not that hard time, when all I could think of Itsuki was to cracky idea to draw her... as little older and bustier, coming to visit Masamune and shocking him to choke on something. AHEM! I mean I tried to create soft... subtly romantic atmosphere there. Almost succeeded. And looks like she is only one in this art post who is not wearing her alt costume.

Anikiii! I miss his blue eyes... - eye, I miss his theme how it used to be, and I miss his parrot. How is that bird is in every concept art piece with him, but then it shines nothing but absence in the latest game - ... never mind my ranting. Put aniki in absolutely ugliest recolor of his costume I know to exist, but it looks kinda good there. "Welcome to the land of demons."

I'm jealous of people who... can draw interesting looking artwork where characters are not looking back to the viewer.

BONUS
"The nightmare before Sekigahara"
Hah hah, I heard quite few people were not so pleased with Motonari's alt costume in 3/Samurai Heroes. I can't say I dislike the garments but yes, neither that I like the look. Anyway, surely I'm not the only one thinking this, either one liked or disliked Motonari's alt costume? xD

Ah, lastly, if you hane not run away yet, something beautiful born from the mind of fans, inspired by Sengoku Basara. I really like original characters, my own as well as to see what other have created. Fuku and Nana there, regardless that they pose there quite intimately, are from whole different stories/RP scenarios. What they have in common is that they both fill the role of mrs. Chosokabe. That's why in 5 seconds drawn Motochika dying for nosebleed in background. Sinihai is my roommete and friend in crime/crack, writing Fuku in RP where I'm writing Motochika, and Lyricanna I met once in here, Livejournal. Found her Deviantart later and instantly felt that I wanna draw Nanaaa. And then suddenly it just felt too tempting to draw yuri of those characters. End of ths story >)

We have reached the end of this little art post. Weapons used to fight against empty canvas were always faithful photoshop and wacom tablet. As smart and peaceful interner dwellers you know what you are allowed and what you are not allowed to do with others art, so let's go with that. However I've always thought that if I'm shameless enough to use icon cropped from fanart some other person made, I should allow other people to do the same with my fanart. So considerate use and editing of my fanart (not OC art) is allowed for little things like that, to bring some joy maybe for some people out there.
EDIT Since few people politely asked if I have DA/pixiv galleries, yes I have. Sketchyreik@Deviantart and Reikyavik@Pixiv, though the latter I update very very very rarely.
