Woohoo!
Jumped two more times today; my first two assisted freefall jumps. First one I fucked up a bit because I didn't really know what you're supposed to do with your legs... instead of pushing them off into the wind I had them just flappning away. That doesn't make for good aerodynamics. =)
Second jump the DZ owner showed up just before we were getting on... I was supposed to be jumping with his wife, but he was like, "Zach's here and jumping! Let me go with him!" =) Apparently I had a pretty good groundschool with him, and he was excited to see how I'd do. On his jump, I was nice and stable (thanks to a good leg position), and he let go of me at one point. Nothing can describe how awesome it feels to be freefalling on your own, just you and the sky... *sigh* So we get down on the ground, and he tells me it was a perfect jump for being my second solo; I couldn't have done anything better. Woohoo!
