2) Support for Peru's Earthquake Victims
You can support victims of the earthquake that hit Peru on Wednesday,
August 15, 2007 through online financial donations or through a
food/clothing drive.
To make financial contributions through PayPal, please go directly to the
Pro
Infancia Peruana website. (Pro Infancia Peruana is a Bay-Area-based
nonprofit whose mission it is to provide support for national emergencies
in Peru as well as assist Peruvian children living in extreme poverty.)
To support the food/clothing drive, please drop off any of the following
items to
Bolivar
House by August 31, 2007:
1) ANY nonperishable canned foods
2) Tents, sleeping bags, sleeping mats
3) ONLY NEW clothes (please keep in mind that it is winter in Peru right now)
