Hey, hey look! I'm posting! Yay, I have things to talk about, many things indeed!
1. Friday to Sunday was CouchCon 2010! Which meant I had a weekend of awesomeness, hanging out with smallcaps, annella, kiwiimpala (who is an amazing cook, just so you know, and made us awesome meals throughout the weekend) and theoret (hi new friend!). We also had gretazreta and kiwiana for a few hours on Saturday.
Much Supernatural was viewed, including the new episode. I believe that the general consensus was that it was the best episode of the season so far. Very good, and very sad making. Young!John and Mary are so adorable and tragic and badass. Who is writing Mary/Anna? Or Sam/Dean/John/Mary?. We also watched Leverage, the NCIS episode with Danneel (and she looks hot in glasses) in it and a couple of movies: Dead and Breakfast, WHICH WAS AMAZING. ZOMBIES! JDM! SINGING! KICKASS WOMEN! WHAT IS NOT TO LIKE? And Devour, which is one of the best examples of WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST WATCH?! ever. Also provides many fabulous crossover possibilities.
There was also lots of glorious fangirling, cooing over pictures of Genevieve (!!!), and talking about wonderful insane things half the night. YAY FANGIRLS! YAY COUCHCON!
2. Sunday was also my auntie's birthday, so Sunday night we had a family dinner of awesome mexican food. We ended up playing a game where we went around the table and each said one sentence of a story. It was insane and involved Edward Cullen getting eaten by a velociraptor and me opening a sandwich shop with Joe Jonas. And lots of people blew up at random. My family is insane, I ♥ us.
3. I have been a lurking lurker who lurks for the past few days and I'm really behind on my flist, so I hope everyone is well. Please fill me in on important things I missed. ♥
4. All sorts of awesome things have been posted at spn_fs_exchange. I'm also really behind in reading the fabulous femmeslashy goodness, but I received an amazing Jo/Bela fanmix, made by darkmagic_luvr. Check it out, it's fantastic and has gorgeous art (including the icon I'm using for this post) AND a fic!
5. The ever frightening To Write list:
* Two fics for the femmeslash exchange - One of them is fully planned out, and I've started writing it and one only exists in my head.
* Alec/Ames White for help_haiti - Planned and started.
* Sam/Dean fic exchange story - Not started at all.
* Big Bang - Some planning done. LOL YOU ARE ALL GOING TO HATE IT. No, you really will.
* Everything else that I want to write but have to put off until the rest of the list is done.
