Character Personality: Yuna has always been a very courageous young woman. Her life had been a difficult one, but she has always stood firm and followed through with her decisions. This courage had garnered her a wide variety of followers and has almost always served her well. Even knowing that it would kill her do to so, the summoner was willing to give up her life in order to bring calm to the people of Spira, if only for a decade or so. In addition, she was always more than willing to shoulder burdens that would often weigh down a normal person. However, because of this willingness, Yuna also feels responsible for keeping these burdens to herself, refusing to let others suffer with her. This prevents them from helping her through situations, and they can come to bother her deeply despite the smile she wears. This, in turn, keeps even her closest friends at arm’s length.
One would think that, due to Tidus’ death, that she would have become even more withdrawn, Yuna has instead embraced life even more than she had previously. Instead of heading down a road that would lead to a very swift end to her young life, the summoner now has her entire life ahead of her, and she plans to do as much with it as she can. She is very adventurous, always willing to try new things and step outside her comfort zone when it comes to new experiences. She misses Tidus very much, but having found out that he was simply a dream of the fayth, she knows that it was never meant to be. Yuna wishes that she could have been the sacrifice that ended her world’s pain, since that had always been her intention, but she had been able to accept the past and move on. Instead of dwelling on it, she has begun changing parts of herself in a sort of memento to her lost love. She has started learning to swim better, hold her breath longer, and has even gotten down the basics of Blitzball. Yuna has also started to try being more bold and outspoken, as well as do things for herself instead of just for others benefit.
Though not as naïve as she once was, Yuna still wants to see the good in people, and thus can quite easily fall into the traps of more manipulative people. She always trusts first, liking to give others the benefit of the doubt regardless of her internal reservations. This can quite easily get her into trouble, as tends to try to get out of trouble after the fact instead of avoiding it through street smarts. Despite her somewhat fragile and innocent appearance, she has no qualms about fighting back once she’s been crossed, and she will do absolutely whatever is necessary to escape danger.
To those that she considers her good friends, you cannot find a better friend than Yuna. She is blindingly loyal and is constantly putting the needs of her friends first. She is a good listener, even if she isn’t the best at giving advice (or taking her own, for that matter). She is also friendly and open, able to see the good in other people despite some flaws or outward appearance.

She could wield powerful white magic, able to cure people of almost anything, whether it be anything from physical damage to blindness, as well as use the powerful magic spell "Holy." She could also cast spells that would protect herself and friends from physical and magical damage.
As a summoner, she could call upon the aid of powerful creatures, who were incredibly strong and could use nearly any spell (black/white) in existence, as well as some unused by anyone else. These spells ranged from a simple fire spell to the non-elemental Ultima spell. However, all aeons were sacrificed in order to defeat Yu Yevon and Sin, and Yuna found she could no longer call upon them. In addition, the fayth of the world of Spira were no longer active. Though she can no longer summon, she is still known as the High Summon of the Eternal Calm.
Character Weaknesses: Yuna always wants to see the good in people, and believes that anyone can redeem themselves. However, this also causes her to be very naïve about the natures of other people. She is far too trusting, and will put herself at risk to help anyone, even if they do not deserve it. It takes a true betrayal for her to recognize danger in another person.
In addition, Yuna had difficulty asking for help when she is having problems. She would rather put on a brave face than ask someone else to shoulder her burdens. Due to the death’s of Tidus and her parents, she has a fear of abandonment, even if she does voice it out loud.

She wasn't sure why it had taken her so long to truly appreciate it, but perhaps it was because she'd always had something else on her mind. It was easier to relax now that life was simpler. Or it seemed that way, at least to her.
Sure, she still had her responsibilities. But the weight of the world on her shoulders was gone, and that was what truly mattered to her. Now she could strive to do...nearly anything her heart desired. After all, Sin was gone for good, and The Eternal Calm was here to stay. She only wished she could have shared it with...
...no, it wasn't good to dwell. Shaking her head softly to herself, Yuna made her way back to Besaid. She was expected at the grand opening of the New Yevon church that had recently been constructed around the old Temple, and it wouldn't be good to be too late.
After a quick shower, Yuna changed into her summoner clothes and took up her staff. All looked well as she opened up the door, but as she stepped through the arch, her surroundings seemed to shatter. Instead of the town around her, she saw blank white walls, a porcelain sink, and a very clean toilet. Yuna began to rub at her eyes, trying to rouse herself from this waking dream, but the vision remained. She had left her home and stepped into someone's...bathroom? The only thing she recognized was the fat chocobo sitting next to the faucet, a leather bag held tightly in its beak. The creature held it out to her and Yuna took it, a dazed expression on her face. The chocobo disappeared in a flash of light even as she turned around, slipping quickly out of the strangers home and onto a very crowded city street.
Yuna was obviously very, very far away from home.
Her first thought was of Zanarkand. Not the ruins of the city that she had visited on her pilgrimage, but his Zanarkand. She had always thought that perhaps he was only missing, since she'd never found him at the Farplane. This place reminded her so much of the vision of Zanarkand that Seymour had shown her. Perhaps lacking a few brightly colored billboards, but it was much the same. Yes, that must be why she was here. To find her love; to find Tidus.
Motor vehicles raced all around her, buildings seemed to stretch all the way to the clouds, and even a ship floated through the sky. Machines danced and people walked. Only she stood still, the entire world seeming to float around her, each individual with an agenda that she would never know.
And so Yuna began to walk. She wasn't sure where she was going yet, but she knew she would figure it out. After all, this adventure was hers.
