So did you ever get caught up with all those emails?? I for one was happy to have a note from you. Haven't you just been the busy gal... and even taking some time for yourself. Gotta love that. So your house must be taking shape, all spic and span. Hurray!!
Do your kids have specific school supply shopping lists supplied by the school?
LOL - I can never seem to catch up on e-mails... they just keep a'comin'...
*starting* to feel good, look good.. but quite a ways to go.. there's been a good 4 years of *neglect* and *kids* that have made things chaotic...
yeah, the school sends out a list of supplies, but with her in grade 7, the list is pretty generic (pencils, erasers, pens...) but I will need a french/english dictionary (as she's in french immersion) and a scientific calculator... and he's in grade 9, so his list is even more generic.. binder, paper, pencils...
But you must just be thrilled that you decided to do this purge and actually ARE doing it!!!!
Years ago when french immersion came to the seperate school in my town I ran into a friend with her kindergarten aged daughter. The little girl was SOOOOO excited about school. I said to her, so you are in school now, isn't that exciting. You will learn so much. She says, I am going to learn all about french perversion. Well her mother was horrified and I was laughing so hard I just couldn't stop myself. The poor little gal had no idea what she has said wrong. So when I see french immersion........
