Ah, no. I was just looking for somewhere that didn't have screaming people...

[Slowly makes her way in, closing the door quietly behind her. The book's clutched tightly under her free arm.]

Ah, that'd explain it. And I haven't introduced myself. I'm Shizune, the chemistry teacher.

...I assume you have a free period, Shizune-senpai. Killing time with that? *points at book*

[Quietly she's wondering why he's chewing on a senbon, but she won't ask questions.] Pleasure to meet you, too. [Takes the offered hand, grip staying rather light.]

Ah, it's quieter than anywhere else in this school. I admit the music is a nice touch, too.

Hm? [Glances to the book for a second, almost having forgotten.] O-oh, yes! That and to avoid having to see Tsunade for the moment...

*nods* That's what I thought, too. Jazz tends to quiet people down a little; at least, that's how it is for me.

Tsunade-sama, huh? *cracks a smile and shifts senbon lightly to talk around it* Well, like I said, I don't mind if you hide out here. Mind if I ask what you're reading, though?

Generally calm music tends to do that, but jazz has that background to it, as well.

Hmm...not familiar with the work, but sounds interesting enough. *smile* I can't tell you the last time I read a book for fun. I'm always too busy practicing music, or something else...

*light laugh* Jazz, what else? Well...that might not be entirely honest. I do like a bit of industrial rock as well. But jazz is more within my means to play.

*chews on senbon in mild thought* Well...I play saxophone, that was my first instrument...and then I learned piano, and then I decided to take up upright bass, and guitar, and I'm not too shabby on flute either. There are some other instruments in there, but those are my favorites.

I admit, I'm more... Well. I don't tend to like the more "hardcore" stuff, as they put it.

[Bit of a wide-eyed look there, that's... that's a lot.] Oh, wow. That's... more than I've ever heard of anyone playing before.

Ah, that's true, too. Most of the time it's calmer music I gravitate towards. I guess it's because of the hectic life.

[Small smile in return, hands fiddling with the book again.] I... I don't. I never was one of those people who was good at much of anything. Chemistry was about the only thing I was truly good at.

Yeah, I can see how things around here could get hectic real fast.

*crooked smile at this, shifts senbon slightly* Yeah, well. I was never good at math and science, so...I guess it all works out in the end?
