It's been a very enjoyable past few months.

Summer is winding down, and I have many things in my life that are very good, and I don't really want to see them go/change; a wonderful romance with a woman I care deeply about, the free life of unemployment/loutishness, and the ever-pleasant hanging out at Johnny's house of Britishness and offensive humo(u)r.

Today, I woke up at 2:30, went to Laser Quest with some very fine people, ate dinner at Famous Dave's BBQ (which I was able to eat the second best bacon cheeseburger in my life FOR FREE), saw my lady off for three days (the only sad thing of today), and dominated at chess and Pictionary at Johnny's.

This, ladies and gents, is about as close to perfection as you can get in life.

So, I think we all can collectively understand that summer is pretty damn good, and that the idea of school isn't entirely a pleasant one. Oh well, it's better it happened and is gone, then never to have been there at all...

This summer coined the following:
The Challenger Voice, joking about horrible things (Oklahoma City, D.C. Sniper, Terri Schiavo, Waco, Columbine, shuttle disasters in general, etc.), the Deaf Voice, the Dog Barking in a Man's Anus, Borat, Ali G, and Funkyzeit Mit Bruno, asking strangers where they were going, hijinks with Nick and Sunil (reprise summer 2003), wearing the same thing every day (undershirt and jeans/khakis), random kissing, and everything else I didn't cover.

This summer has also been the most positively life-altering time of my life, and I couldn't have done it without my beloved friends and family. To all of you, my gratitude goes out, and I wish someday I can give you that which you all have given me.
