Gatorade
Apparently Gatorade is now kosher. I'm not sure when that happened; I don't think it was the case in fall 2008 when I had mono (and consumed copious amounts of Powerade). I think I like Powerade better, but the vending machine at Simmons has Gatorade (and I drank through the last of my Powerades yesterday). I was going to get a Powerade at CVS but didn't have time to, since the bus was leaving in < 5 minutes. But now I have a beverage to make me less dehydrated.
The downside is that it costs $2 in the vending machine. Powerades can be gotten for $1 at Star and ~$2 at the corner store. And the Gatorade bottle is smaller than the Powerade one. Gatorade is 20 oz and Powerade is 32 oz.
And spell check, why is Gatorade a word and Powerade is not a word? Might I detect a brand bias?
