Padme never really thought much about her dream home since she was a child. She hadn't had time to think about that sort of thing in a long, long time.
Not until she found out she was pregnant, at least.
She's found that what constitutes "dream home" in her mind has changed. It's still in the lake country, where it's peaceful, beautiful and quiet. Although now she's decided she doesn't want anything large. Something small, cozy. Just big enough for her, Anakin and their child. A spare room for her family when they visit. A fireplace would be nice. A fenced yard with a play set for the baby when he or she is old enough to enjoy it. She sees herself leaving Coruscant early to get the baby's room ready, and to childproof the rest of the house for the child's inevitable growing up. Best to get these things done early. Her political career will have to be put on hold. Perhaps permanently. Which, she's certain, will make her family happy. Her mother has been known to get after her about settling down anyway.
She realizes, however, it's not really the details of the house itself that matters. It's the quiet, safe place for her and her husband to raise their child on her home planet, so close to her family that they can visit whenever they wish. It's that her child will be able to grow up playing with his or her cousins on her home planet. Grow up, no doubt, spoiled by loving grandparents. No, it's not the house that makes it so appealing. It's the home.
