Little Drummer Boy
So I did it.
After 19 years of wanting a drum kit, I finanly did it. I bought one. Nothing much. Five piece Westbury Pro-Cussion, black, with Remo skins. I have a high hat and a crash made by our good friends at Solar.
Doing some internet research on how to properly set them up for comfort. Also found a pretty cool lessons web site. Gonna try on my own for a month or so, see how it goes. If I aint getting anywhere, will probably sign up for lessons.
I know I am not goona be the next Neal Pert, or Matt Sorum or Dave Holland...Holland may be a bad example as he was convicted of trying to rape one of his male students...but I just want to be able to play something decent.
Be nice to be able to play well enough to have a little band, play at some dive bars. One step at a time. But here's to taking the first step.
