sounds like it's worth reading. PJ compares Aragorn to a noble horse? I didn't get that.

That idea came from William Ready to begin with. I doubt that's where PJ got it but he might have done. I read Ready so long ago that I don't remember a thing about the book.

And it's nice to know that Hobbit to Hero: The Making of Tolkien’s King is getting attention. inzilbeth_liz worked so hard on that book, and it's marvelous.

I was dubious about this book when I saw it mentioned somewhere a few months ago. The cover didn't inspire confidence. Now I think I'll have to read it. When Scull posts part 2 of her review I'll post a link here.
