And I am in the process of ordering a ~$100k microscope.
I hate talking to people, but with orders of this magnitude, you have to have meetings with vendors. And phone converstations with vendors. And, the part I'm dreading, negotiations with vendors. Haggling and dealing and whatnot is notmy thing, but I'm supposed to do it, so I'm stuck with trying to get better deals.
It is a lot of money, and every little bit counts. But damn.
