The Uninteresting Times

Ah, the month of January is fast coming to a close. I need to finish all of my school applications this week (that means just two more days). I am sure I can meet this deadline.

I am still in Norfolk. It's not as bad as I make it out to be. I still haven't seen as many people as I would have liked by now, but I am enjoying myself. Going to the Y pretty much every day, which I really need to do. One of the things I like about Norfolk is that the Y is much better than the one in downtown Richmond. They need to do some serious renovating of that facility. It's not bad, but once you've been to the Norfolk one, you understand. And the one in Richmond can be so awesome since it's in a very pretty historic building.

But life has been pretty tame lately. No going out and partying and going to bars. Nope. Nothing. Mostly spend time alone, which is not normal for me, but it's what's happened to my life.

I am hoping to go see some movies in theaters pretty soon. It's been a long time since I've done that. But I have free passes to two movies--Legion and Crazy Heart. I very much want to see Young Victoria, too, but I don't have free passes to that one.

It still feels weird to be unemployed. I can't believe how much of my life I have spent unemployed. It seriously feels like I'm a loser of sorts. I don't take that too seriously, but my life has definitely not been normal in the job department.

I know, not a very interesting post, but that's the tone of my life these days. I could rant about stuff people do that I don't understand, but that would be pretty pointless, plus I am not in the mood to do that right now. Maybe later.
