"Death Bed"

So it's another weekend. How is life going in the tumultuous world of the crazy one? Well, it's a little smoother than it was a week or so ago, which is great. I found out some excellent stuff that took one big weight off my shoulders.

And learned I have one more month in my current apartment, so I don't have to worry about moving in the next coupld of days, which is also nice. Not that I will completely relish the apartment--I am so ready to be out of there it's not funny. But I appreciate having more time to make other arrangements and hopefully figure out where my life is heading--whether I'm sticking around here for a while or moving somewhere else. I don't know if I will know for sure before Halloween, but we'll see how it goes.

I do hope I can make up my mind what I am going to do soon.

Last night I went to a friend's house and another friend came by, and we had dinner and watched "Death Bed". If you've seen it, congratulations, it's very obscure. Has an interesting history, too. Was made in the '70s, didn't get distribution, but apparently was pirated because by the time the Internet came around the guy who made the film found reviews of the movie and people wanting to know where to find a copy of it. So go watch it. And if your local indy-type movie rental place doesn't have it, request that they purchase it for their cult section.

Tonight, the plans are to have dinner with a friend and then go to a comedy club. I don't even know who the talent is, but I will appreciate something different. It's been years since I've been to a comedy club. Don't know what Sunday has in store, but at the moment I don't really care.

For all my friends in Richmond--HAPPY PRIDE! Wish I was there.

Also, there's a great party a friend is throwing in Richmond tonight. I should just move back there, shouldn't I?
