Princess in the Spotlight by Meg Cabot
Genre: YA
Part of a Series? Princess Diaries, book 2
Rating: 9/10

This book was just as good as the first one (not that I expected any less). I finished it in a day, so I'm just glad that there are plenty more in the series still to read. Also, I was overjoyed to see that the second movie they made had absolutely nothing to do with the plot of the second book.

Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports by James Patterson
Genre: YA Supernatural Fantasy
Part of a Series? Maximum Ride, book 3
Rating: 9/10

Another dose of action, adventure and heavy sarcasm, just like the first two books in the series. Can't go wrong with that. The whole 'kids revolting to change the world' thing felt more than a little strained, but I'm willing to forgive it. Unless since it ended with an awesome reconciliation scene. Part of me doesn't want to read the next book, because I think it's the last one.

Ark Angel by Anthony Horowitz
Genre: YA Adventure
Part of a Series? Alex Rider, book 6
Rating: 7.5/10

Still a solid Alex Rider book, but not quite as good as the previous one. Once again, some more MI-5 would have been nice. However, it was nice to see the CIA show up again, and the whole fake eco-terrorist thing was pretty cool.
