(no subject)
Had a fun-filled weekend! Actually, Saturday consisted mostly of me cleaning my room (yuck!), so let's just say I had a fun-filled Sunday. Went to the Roots Festival in Toronto (that was okay) and then to Square One to buy some clothes (scored me some camo shorts, plus a Superman t-shirt, PLUS a Joker t-shirt. Awesome!) Then went on to see Much Ado About Nothing in Brampton. The beginning was marred by continually honking from idiotic Portugal fans (although the numerous jokes about Portugal that were inserted into the play pretty well made up for it).
Started watching Superman II today (in order to be caught up to speed for Superman Returns next week) and it is hilarious. I feel like I'm watching original Star Trek, and talk about your ridiculously funny musical montages. Sweet. Also, caught Mirrormask Saturday night. I was happy to see the subtle reference to Labyrinth in it, and it was just very good overall (don't think the rents really enjoyed it, though). Part of me was wishing that it had ended differently though, but that would have been depressing. :p
Almost forgot to mention, I started reading Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro, and while I have no idea what is going on so far, it is awesome.
Four more days until I'm on vacation! Woo!
