How is it almost May, and yet it's only like zero degrees outside? Not that I plan to go outside today, but it's spring. Meh.
Yesterday was awesome, with the getting to see people before I head off to Europe and all. And Stargate, of course...two Daniel episodes! Can't get better than that. After watching tv last night I was so very tempted to start reading the Silmarillion, but it was like 1:00, so decided that probably wasn't the best idea.
Still waiting for two of my marks...hopefully they'll appear soon. Religion went okay. In hindsight, I should have realized that the mark was going to be somewhere around where it actually was. I hate her exams.
I spend a lot of my time watching Superhero shows...and I've realized that there are two stock plotlines which are always used. A) The one where the superhero goes blind (noticed it in the Batman animated series, Lois and Clark and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and b) the one where the superhero is put on trial for his vigilante ways (Lois and Clark, Batman animated series, original Batman, Spider-Man). Don't get me wrong, blindness is always amusing and I love those trial episodes, be they law suits from victims, or charges from a green, yet hard-nosed, attorney who believes in the solid legitimacy of the police force. Just an interesting observation.
