This is simply revolting. Have you all nothing better to do than to whine about your silly relationships? The odds that any of you will still be together after we leave here are astronomical, for Slytherin's sake ( Read more... )

Should I be delighted you have taken such an interest in my life, Bella? Aren't there any first years you can hex or seventh years you can threaten into doing your homework?

May I ask what assistance I am in need of that has resulted in my cavorting with Gryffindors? I am unaware. I haven't been cavorting with ANYONE as of late. Not to mention that just about everyone in our house avoids me life the plague, thanks to you. So you see why they could be of no help to me.

I am a Slytherin and think that after seven years you would have grown accustomed to it. It would be improper for a Vance to be placed elsewhere.

I have not taken an interest in a traitors life. I am merely stating an observation that my journal is cluttered with relationship nonsense and that you are apparently very freindly with a pure-blood traitor, like McKinnon.

If you're entire family has been in Slytherin for ages as you claim, then maybe you should start acting like one.

Since you claim to have taken no interest in a "traitor's" life, then why are you wasting your valuable time writing about it?

Yes, I've talked to Marlene. She is one of the few who still acknowledges my presence and is friendly toward me. I really don't think it is any of your business if I do.

Act like a Slytherin? Since you make it so obvious that I lack all the qualities of a true Slytherins I suppose you can tell me how I should be acting. No doubt spreading rumours, hexing students into oblivion, and whatever else you do for fun.

For one, speaking to a pure blood witch who has turned her back on her own kind is very un-Slytherin like, Vance.

And why am I writing about it? Well it seemed safer for you than telling you in person how I feel about this subject. I was feeling a little gracious today and not in the mood to hex anyone just yet.

Maybe if I tell you that I have turned my back on my "own kind" you'll leave me alone? Probably not.

Even if she hadn't turned her back on her "own kind" ,as you put it, I doubt you would be more likely to accept that I have spoken with her. What, with her being a Gryffindor and all....

Feeling gracious? Not in the mood hex anyone? How Un-Slytherin of you, my dear Bella! Are you ill?

I do believe I said was, Vance, was. You have been most helpful in destroying that mood, so I suggest that you watch your back. You know I do not take kindly to sarcasm and insults.

Maybe I should put the Imperius Curse on you and have you do Rodolphus's homework

Now I feel simply awful for destroying your good mood. Oh wait. That might have been sarcasrm.

I heard a saying once that 'A true friend stabs you in the front.' Watch my back? I guess that answers any lingering questions I might have had....
