I know it's been days since New Years eve, but I have been to lazy busy to even conceive of writing in my journal, even though I have something very noteworthy to write down.
It was simply beautiful. Romantic and exotic and simply breathtaking.

Rodolphus and I had a commitment ceremony on New Years, and I wanted to write down what happened for my own posterity. I supposed I could do a pensive, and perhaps I still will.
Picture it:
And isolated beach, palm trees everywhere, exotic flowers scenting the balmy breeze. Rodolphus standing on the waters edge wearing white linen pants and a white linen shirt, gently flowing in the breeze. Me in a black silk dress, no shoes, as I walk toward him along the water, the warm sand under my feet. He looked so beautiful, all tanned wearing white and a sexy little smile. The ceremony was quick but beautiful. We said simple vows just as the sun set, seeming to dip into the ocean to cool off. And then it was over, and he leaned in and kissed me, and I knew I would be his forever.
