Today, the sun decided to visit the lowly little English country village of Chelford, Cheshire. So I decided to go for a nice walk around the fields. I saw all the little lambs and rams in the field, as well horses, cows, rabbits, badger setts, and lots of other wildlife. The only animals I wasn't keen on were the wasps- I had to keep running away from them (yes, I know I'm a sap but I'm really scared of them).
I did some more sorting out of my belongings today. I tidied up my chest of drawers, including all my favourite letters I have collected over the years. How I love going into days-gone-by-land: I spent a whole 4 hours on a job that could be practically done in half an hour. I read some of my favourite letters, and found some more its of poetry and short stories I wrote a while ago. I found a whole Novella I wrote 4 years ago about a rock band's spiralling descent into a drug-fuelled haze. I read through it for the first time since I wrote it, and I am really impressed at how well I can write at times. I'm determined never to give up on my dream of getting my work published one day.
Thought for the day (stolen from popbitch.com): When Brad and Angelina's baby starts school, what is the chance Shiloh Pitt will be called Piloh Shitt?
